Poha

This delicious and tasty Poha is easy to make and is loved by everyone!

*Poha is flattened rice flakes


INGREDIENTS

Poha-2 cups

Medium Onion chopped - 1

Lemon-1

Turmeric-1/4 tsp

Oil-2 tbsp

Grated Carrot- 1

Small Potato cut in small cubes- 1

Chopped Cilantro- 1/2 cup

TEMPERING

Cumin seeds- 1 tsp

Mustard seeds- 1 tsp

Chana Daal- 1/2 tsp

Urad Daal- 1/2 tsp

Green Chilies cut into halves-4

OPTIONAL

Dry roasted peanuts

Cashews cut in halves- 6

STEPS:

1.Take a pan and pour 2 tbsp of oil on medium heat and add all the spices

2.Once the mustard seeds splutter, then add green chillies

3.Fry the onions till its in the translucent color

4.Now add the potato cubes and salt and stir

5.Then cover the pan until the potato cooks on low flame

6.Next was the poha with water and drain the water completely and keep it aside

7.Once the potato is cooked add the grated carrot,turmeric,cilantro,and adjust salt if needed and fry for a minute

8.Then add the washed poha and stir for a minute on a low flame and then cover with the lid

9.Squeeze lemon and add some cilantro and cover with the lid

10.Serve hot poha with peanuts,and cashews

11.ENJOY!!


If you add cashews after chillies,then avoid peanuts.You can add more lemon if desired.Your Healthy,Easy,and Delicious breakfast is ready!
